Raised in Bryan, Ohio, Sam’s love for music can be traced back to his mother in the church choir and his fathers knack for making up little ditties. Voted most likely to be a townie by his graduating class, Sam jumped ship as soon as he could and set out seeking excitement and adventure. After 10 years of drinking and drifting, Sam made it back home to Ohio. He brought with him the musical styles he fell in love with in the hills of Appalachia and the mountains of Colorado. Born in the gutters of a punk rock youth and steeped in high country mountain music, Sam brings to northwest Ohio an authentic sound that is as new and fresh as it is nostalgic and antique.
