A native of Bryan, Glen Newcomer performs as a solo artist in the four-county area and sometimes joins talents with other veteran entertainers. A self-taught musician and after years of musical emptiness, Glen’s interest in guitar reemerged in recent years and rediscovered his passion for music along with a desire to perform on stage.  Newcomer’s musical influences include classic rock legends Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tom Petty, Steve Miller, and The Beatles. Glen performs a variety of songs across several decades of classic rock favorites.  Playing from Blues to Rock to Country, there is a little bit of something for everyone in his playlist.  Glen performs at local wineries, breweries, coffee shops, and at local open mic events.
